| Administrative History | The school was formerly Cairncry Infant School, Cummings Park Drive, Aberdeen. Bramble Brae was a purpose built infant school opened on 24 August 1954 as Cairncry Infants School. The name was changed in 1972 due to the local use of the name Bramble Brae.
In 1983 Cummings Park school was amalgamated with Bramble Brae with the headteacher from Bramble Brae assuming charge.
