Administrative History | Saltoun Place School and School Street School combined in 1876 and became the Fraserburgh Public School. Saltoun Place had been the parochial school, built in 1838 to replace a school at the Links. School Street school was originally the Free Church School, and had been taken over by the School Board in 1874, and then in 1875 converted to a school for Infants and pupils in the first Standards.
The school moved to a new site, the Central School, in 1882. In 1999 it became St. Andrew's Primary School. |
