| Administrative History | The old parish school was taken over by Logie Coldstone School Board in 1873 and later became a combination school for Logie Coldstone and Glengairn School Boards. At September 1955 it was the only school in the parish. It was then a Junior Secondary School with a primary department. There were 3 full time staff members, 4 visiting teachers and 73 pupils. The Secondary department closed in July 1960. The school was destroyed by a fire in 1968 after which pupils were taught in the Hall until the new school building was completed in September 1971.
The school roll was 17 in 2023. |
