| Administrative History | Redmyre School was formerly the Free Church School of Waterlair (Garvock Parish) which closed in 1875: it was then moved to Laurencekirk Parish.
The School Boards of Arbuthnott, Fordoun, Garvock and Laurencekirk each had an interest in this school (therefore it was known as Redmyre Combination School). The school was managed by a committee of representatives from the four school boards. |
