Description | Petition of John Clerk, farmer in Old Aberdeen, to the Justices of the Peace. Complaining that certain named individuals have forcefully taken a horse from him without any warrant, claiming it belonged to his majesty's artillery. Clerk says he had bought the horse from a cavalry officer. 17 April 1716
