Description | Annual reports submitted to the Kincardineshire Police Committee. The reports provide detailed statistical tables of crimes reported and cases disposed, by both type of offence and by police district. The reports also provide figures for the number of police officers at each station, the number of licensed premises, use of police cells, certificates issued under the Pedlars Act, sudden deaths investigated and on the location and origin of the migratory poor at the bi-annual census. From 1895 to 1905, the reports also include a return of fines imposed and recovered and bails forfeited in courts, and details of property destroyed by fire.
