20 Sep 1831 Alexander Mackay, shore master, in respect of the love and favour the Magistrates had for him.
20 Sep 1831 James Harper, Solicitor in Banff, in respect of the love and favour the Magistrates had for him, he being the son of a Burgess.
28 Nov 1833 Colonel A. Leith Hay, member for the Elgin Burghs, in respect of the love and favour the Magistrates had for him, he being the son of a Burgess.
21 Jan 1835 Captain John Leith, Royal Navy, in respect of the love and favour the Magistrates had for him, he being the son of a Burgess.
7 Aug 1837 James Duff of Delgaty Castle, as a mark of respect from the Magistrates towards him and the noble family of Fife, he being the son of a Burgess.
7 Aug 1837 Captain George Ferguson of Pitfour, as a mark of respect from the Magistrates towards him.
6 Feb 1838 Honourable Fox Maule, Under Secretary of State, in respect of the honour and esteem which the said Magistrates had for him.
8 Apr 1852 James Bremner, Civil Engineer, Wick, for his professional services in connection with the Harbour of Banff.
5 June 1852 Alexander Watson Manager of the Banff Gas Light Company, in respect of work on the repairs and improvements of Banff Harbour.
8 Mar 1864 Alexander Morison Esquire, Edinburgh, in recognition of the favour and respect held for him by the Provost and magistrates.
7 Oct 1871 Rt Hon Henry Austin Bruce, Secretary of State for the Home Department, in recognition of his eminent services as a statesman.
11 Nov 1871 Rt Hon Alexander William George, Lord Viscount Macduff, on his majority on the recommendation of an extraordinary Head Court, as an acknowledgement of the liberality and kindness of his father, the Rt Hon James Earl of Fife.
9 Sep 1881 His Excellency the Rt Hon Mount Stuart Elphinstone Grant Duff, Governor of Madras, for his services as the Burgh MP for the last 21 years and in recognition of his eminence as a statesman.
18 Jan 1882 HRH Prince Alfred Ernest, Duke of Edinburgh etc in respect of his high position in the royal house and for his past public career in the Navy.
29 Aug 1893 Sir Stuart Knill Baronet, Lord Mayor of London, as a grandson of a native of the County of Banff and in recognition of his position of Chief Magistrate of the metropolis of the United Kingdom.
6 Nov 1918 Most noble Charles Henry Gordon Lennox, Duke of Richmond Lennox and Gordon, Lord Lieutenant of Banffshire in recognition of his efforts in raising Gordon Highlanders to fight the Great War, his self sacrifice in giving of his own family, his courageous bearing and of his support for the successful prosecution of the Great War.
10 Oct 1925 Rt Hon David Lloyd George MP in recognition of his pre-eminent and distinguished services to the state over a long period of years.
