| Administrative History | Established by the Trust Disposition and Settlement of Duncan Nicol, saddler, Montrose, dated 16 December 1876, by which £400 was left to the Provost and Eldest Bailie of the Royal Burgh of Banff and the Minister of the Parish of Banff. The interest on the sum was to be used to purchase coals to be distributed among the necessitous poor of the Town of Banff. |
