Administrative HistoryNorth Eastern Agricultural Co-operative Society was established in 1906. Its headquarters were in Aberdeen with its main premises being in Bannermill Place. Other branches operated from Elgin and Inverness.

The object of the society was to provide members with grains, seeds and equipment at competitive prices and to offer support and advice to local farmers. The Society also operated North Eastern Limes Ltd (DD1066/7).

In April 1968 the Society was renamed as the North Eastern Farmers Limited: see DD1066/1 for records of the renamed organisation.
