Administrative HistoryThe Royal Army Service Corps Regimental Association was formed in 1927 when RASC clubs and funds were amalgamated. Many new branches were formed after the Second World War by ex-servicemen wanting to retain a connection with their comrades. The Aberdeen Association appears to have been formed c. June 1945. As well as organising social events, the Aberdeen Branch appears to have operated a benevolent fund too. In 1965 the Association was renamed the Royal Army Service Corps & Royal Corps of Transport Association, and the Aberdeen Branch seems to have continued to operate into the 1990s.
