Aberdeen Harbour Board: Letter from James Horn, Footdee Letter to John Angus: "Dear Sir, I received your letter of yesterday advising me that the Harbour Committee has (?) the feu duty of the ground applied for by me to build a sessional school on 4/ and foot of (?). Some weeks ago I receivedna similar letter from Mr. Riddel stating that the Committee had then agreed to let it for 3/-. Under the circumstances I hope you will wait until Monday forenoon when I will give you a definite answer. The reason for so long delay is an account of the session not meeting while Saturday and I intend to lay the matters before them. I remain dear Sir, your obedient servant, James Horn." 31st March 1841
