Aberdeen Harbour Board: Copy of Letter to Mr. Jackson, London Letter written by Alexander Reid to Thomas Jackson: "Sir, I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 11th together with your draft on the Aberdeen Bank for £13,,6,,8 for ground rent, which is placed to your credit. Prefixed I beg also to hand you account for shoredues on sleepers shipped, amount £137,,5,,9 and have to request that you will be so kind as to transmit an order for the amount by return of port. A copy of this account was handed to your clerk Mr. Colphas on 31st July. I am Sir, your most obedient servant, A. Reid." 16th August 1842
