Banff Burgh: Sasine Minute Books This series consists of the Minute Books of Sasines for the Burgh of Banff from 1768 to 1826. Protocol Books and Registers of Sasines from 1611 until 1942 (with gaps) are held at the National Archives of Scotland under the Series Reference B7. Minutes of Sasines are written summaries of the content of the deeds themselves, and were recorded for reference and given a running number. They do not contain the full character and clauses of each deed. 1768 - 1826
