Strichen The files contain mainly correspondence and memoranda, but files sometimes also included copy planning applications, site plans, extract minutes, statements of tenders received, specifications for housing schemes and lists of applicants for Council housing (which detail the points awarded on various criteria). Files relating to the provision of housing for agricultural workers, in addition to the above, carried statements of accommodation available on nearby farms. They illustrate the County Council's polic in siting, design and allocation of Council housing, and the relationship between the Council and central government.
