Remarks: in December 1904 a complete set of plans showing the City Hospital as  built were requested by the Local Government Board for Scotland for their  approval, as additions had been made to the Hospital since the original plans  were approved by the Board of Supervision.  The plans were approved by the Local  Government Board on 12 July 1905 (See Council minutes 1904/5, 51 and 289).
