The Council approved the sale by public roup in way of feu on 22 December 1827  of the Lands and Mill of Buxburn belonging to the Treasurer, to William Adam,  advocate in Aberdeen, on behalf of Mr George Gordon, at present residing in  Aberdeen, at £162 yearly feu duty and £20 yearly rent for the multures. (246r -  246v)
The Council approved the sale by public roup in way of feu of the stance on the  south side of Union Street, measuring forty-seven feet in front east from a line  of eighty-two or three feet from the east side of the Cross Street leading past  the property of Mr William Reid towards Bon Accord Street, to Mr John Smith,  architect, on behalf of Mr Robert Morrice, advocate in Aberdeen, at 7 shillings  6 pence per foot of front. Baillie Milne reported that their Committee had received an offer for the corner  stance on the south side of Union Street, opposite the property of Mr William  Reid and towards Bon Accord Street, and that the same had been advertised for  sale by public roup in way of feu on 9 February 1828 at the rate of 8 shillings  6 pence per foot of front yearly feu duty. The Council remitted to the Committee the sale by public roup of the leases of  the following subjects belonging to the Treasurer; the lease for three years of  the shipbuilding yards at Footdee, currently held by Messrs Alexander Hall &amp;  Company, Nicol Reid &amp; Company, John Duffus &amp; Company, James Adam or William  Stephen &amp; Sons, William Duthie and George Levie; the lease for three years of  the wood yard and houses possessed by Mr Robert Duthie and Cummine Laing; the  lease for three years of the ropeworks and buildings lately occupied by James  Gibbon &amp; Company; the lease for three years of the shops under the Town House  possessed by Adam Singer, Mollison &amp; Company and Alexander Martin; the lease for  three years of the Cross occupied by the Union Coach Company; the lease for  seven years of the piece of ground adjoining the Meal Market, situated between  the same and the property of Mrs Vass.
