The Council allocated aid from the Poor's Fund to the following applicants:
Alexander Booth, merchant - £6
Mrs Martha Thomson or Lyall, widow of William Lyall, sometime land waiter in  Aberdeen - £5
Mrs Ann Smith or Joss, widow of John Joss, sometime maltman in Aberdeen and  Burgess - £6
Mrs Janet Reid, widow of James Reid, sometime shipmaster - £4 bursary for one of  her children
Mrs Elizabeth Farquhar, widow of James Farquhar, sometime Controller of the  Customs at Banff - £4
Alexander Smith, mason and Burgess - £4
Mrs Janet Glennie, daughter of the deceased Gilbert Glennie, sometime stocking  merchant - £3 bursary
The Misses Turners, being the five unmarried daughters of the late Keith Turner  of Turnerhall - £12, formerly enjoyed by their mother, now deceased, payable  from Turnerhall's mortification
Alexander Glennie, leather merchant - £6
Mrs Margaret Leslie or Sim, widow of the late Rev David Sim, Minister of Union  Chapel in Aberdeen - £5
The following pensioners were granted additional sums to their existing pensions  from the Poor's Fund:
James Harthill, merchant - £2
Mrs Barron, widow of Patrick Barron, merchant - £1
Mrs Lewis Wilson, widow of Lewis Wilson, tailor - £1
Mrs Maitland, widow of James Maitland, candlemaker - £2
Mrs Cruickshank, widow of William Cruickshank - £2
Alexander Stuart, shoemaker - £2
Mrs Mary Bean, daughter of the late John Bean and relict of Andrew Braid - £1
The Council directed all other pensions from the Town's Funds to be continued  unaltered.
