<dc:title>Petition of the Inhabitants of North Street to the Town Council of Aberdeen</dc:title>
<dc:description>Request of the Feuars and Inhabitants of North Street that work be begun on the repairs of their street, as it is the principal entry to the town. Petition begs that the repairs be done under the direction of Robert Taylor as the town's Overseer of Public Works, and states that the petitioners would be content to be of service by paying the expense of re-paving the foot walk that lies at the front of each of their respective tenements.
Note on front of document records Council finding of 10th August 1776 that consideration of the petition in question is to be delayed until the next Council meeting.</dc:description>
