Petition from Alexander Fergussone of Ballyoukane to John, Duke of Atholl, concerning dispute over land Describes land, fishings and meadows granted to him in charter of 1613, which had remained in his possession since until 1715 when he was "forced out to ye rebellione" [presumably the 1715 Jacobite rebellion] and deprived of his right to the fishings of Lochbrain adjoining meadows by the Duke's managers. Fergussone denies that he was engaged in the late rebellion. 1720
