  <dc:description>Letter to Macdonald from Adolphe Artz, Paris, notifying him of the sending of 6 photos which Mr Schreyer gave him for Macdonald, unable to post them earlier as they were too large, details of photos, George Reid can advise on the colour of Schreyer's pictures, as he knows two of his works in Luxembourg: 'Charge d'attilerie', and 'Cheveaux de Cosaques', one of the largest photographs sent is of an episode of the Battle of Waterloo, sold to an American,  Artz now working on a couple of pictures which he hopes to finish for an exhibition, one of which is of a painter's studio with a female maid looking over the painter's shoulder, 26 January 1870.</dc:description>
