Niven/Cruickshank Archive: Photograph album inscribed 'To the Guidman & Guidwife of Bruckhills with best wishes on the 25th anniversary of their marriage from George M Warrack 5 July 1891' The Guidman was Robert Niven, Bruckhills, 1834 - 1921 and the Guidwife, his wife, Margaret Gilchrist or Niven, 1837 - 1915. The first picture in the album is of the Warrack family. All photographs are named and include Cruickshanks, Nivens, Davidsons, Alexanders, Gilchrists and many others. The album has been annotated by Adam Stephen Niven, their son, and his daughter, Mary Margaret Niven. A list of notes is kept with the volume. 1891
