  <dc:description>1. Selection of 4 local postcards, from a larger set , mostly sent to Miss Forbes, 8 High Street, Insch, between the 1930s and 1950s. (Non-local postcards have been weeded). Subjects include: the Shelter Stone in the Cairngorms; Braemar Castle from the River Dee; Union Bridge and Union Terrace; Old Bridge of Dee. Also four amateur black and white photographs: three of Dunnydeer and one of a small hippo. Miss Forbes may have been a teacher at the school?
2. 4 black and white photographs of the opening of Insch Memorial Hospital in 1922, with accompanying letter from their owner Jeannie Cruickshank, 1990. 
3. 4 black and white photographs of buildings around Insch (two churches, the Cooper/Harper Spar shop and the library), c. 1950s. </dc:description>
