David Callander is the fourth on our list who has succumbed - the others being: W. Slaker [died 23/10/1914, Gordon Highlanders], died of wounds; Stephen Blacklaws, killed in action [18/12/1914, Scots Guards]; and William Moug, died in Hospital, Bedford [from pneumonia after measles].
