Aberdeen City: Publicity and Promotions Department Photographs The collection consists mainly of photographs taken by the photographers of the Technical Services Unit (now Publicity and Promotions Division) of Aberdeen District Council, largely between 1950 and 1985, with copies of earlier photographs included. The collection has been kept in its original numbering order, alphabetically by subject, but a new numbering scheme has been adapted within this order. Negatives are extant for some of the photographs, and a list is available in hard copy format in the City Archives Search Room. 19th century 20th century
