DescriptionLetter addressed to the Trustees for the Harbour of Aberdeen: "Gentlemen, I beg leave respectfully to inform you that for some considerable time I have been much annoyed by the unreasonable interference of your servant William Forbes and considerable detention caused to some of my vessels and as he tells (or tills?) me he has the authority for acting as he does. You will I trust see that I be allowed compensation for any detention that he may give any of my ships from and after this date, upon being satisfied that his unreasonable conduct is the cause and I am very respectfully, Gentlemen, your most obedient servant, George Cruickshank."
