William Fyfe, sailor, was executor. James and Agnes Leggat were two of William's and Catherine Downie's children - James of Hatton, Banchory, and Agnes formerly of Aberdeen, now in Fraserburgh. Catherine Downie resided at the time in Hilton. William Fyfe was the son-in-law of William and Catherine through marriage to their daughter Jean Leggat, with whom he had four children: William, John, Catharine, and Jean Fyfe.
