| Administrative History | Broomhill Hostel was situated at 332 Broomhill Road, Aberdeen, and opened in 1953. Initially for girls, it was opened to male adolescents from 1972 onwards. It closed c. 1992.
In 1987 it was described as a residential unit caring for a maximum of ten children generally of secondary school age, with two emergency beds. It was primarily a home for long-term placements. |
