Description	Petitioner is the daughter of the late William Chalmers, Merchant in Aberdeen and his late wife, Janet Cumming. Janet Cumming had been a beneficiary of Baillie Cummings mortification. The petitioner's health prevents her from working and is seeking funds from the council in addition to the allowance of 30 shillings "on the hospital". Presently she is being provided for by friends.
