Title	Confirmation of Act of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland Forbidding the Council of Aberdeen from Electing Ministers
Description	Confirmation of act passed by the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland forbidding the Council of Aberdeen from choosing and electing their own Minsiters, as the Assembly viewed the Council as having Catholic sympathies and regularly appointing Catholics to the town's vacant charges. Confirmation by the Crown sent to Aberdeen in December 1608, additionally noting that the Assembly had excommunicated the Marquis of Huntly.
