| Administrative History | Nairnshire Constabulary was formed in 1850 as a constabulary for the county of Nairn. It was amalgamated with Morayshire Constabulary (POL/E) in 1930, which was in turn succeeded by the amalgamated Scottish North East Counties Constabulary (see POL/S) in 1949. |
