DescriptionLetter addressed to William Carnegie, Esq. Letter head: "Old Broad Street, 3rd June 1829." Letter reads as follows: "Dear Sir, I beg to send you herewith my bill of posts and also Mr. Dovington's account for the the Aberdeen Harbour Act. I am not sure whether I should trouble you wi them, but if not, may I beg the favour of you to hand them over to Mr. Riddel. I am very happy that we can this year congratulate ourselves on a more favourable termination to our labours than on the preceding occasion, and I trust the Act as now passed will not be found objectionable by the Magistrates, and will give satisfaction to the (?) of your cuty in general. I am dear Sir, yours very faithfully, A. Gordon. P.S- I have not yet been able to get the copies from the Kings Printer, but have ascertained the price as you will see by the bill of posts and expect to get them on Monday next."
