TitleAberdeen Harbour Board: Letter from Thomas Phillips, Abergeldie
Description"Sir, I have received yours of the 21st inst, and have to say that is owing to my not knowing, but what the steam vessel company always settled all things, they took as freights and therefore feel sorry it should have been neglected; but I expect to be in Aberdeen in the incoming week and will see to the settling of it immediately. I believe the solid contents of each piece or the average of the same is rather more than one foot but not a foot and a half the number you state and believe is correct. Your most obedient servsant, Thomas Phillips."
