Description | Letter to James Riddel: "Sir, as agent for the King's College, I have received your letter of the 14th current, intimating that the interest of the bonds, payable by the Master of Shoreworks at the 20th day of June next, shall be three and a half per cent from and offer that (?), and I know bed to acquaint you that the interest of the £603 due by him to King's College as applicable to the payment of two? bursaries on Stuarts Mortification, which continue till Michaelmas 1831, and the amount of which was fixed on the understanding that five per cent would be received for the money. I hope therefore that you will see the propriety of allowing five per cent on the above sum till the 20th day of June 1831, and, in the hope of hearing that you have agreed to do so, I am Sir, your obedient servant, David Hutcheon." |
