Letter reads: "Sir, having been absent for some time on business in a distant part of the island I did not secure your letter of the 21st inst until my return on Monday. I now beg to say that I am quite willing to pay ten pounds sterling of additional rent yearly and to implement the whole obligation contained in your letter.
