Description | Letter to the Aberdeen Harbour Trustees. Letter head: "Footdee, 22nd February 1837." Letter reads as follows: "We the subscribers have surveyed one of the harbour ballast barges, and find all the outside plank in one side stove in, some of the inside timbers and some of the deck plank are broken. That the expense of putting the said barge in a proper working condition, will in our opinion amount to the sum of seventeen pounds sterling. Alexander Hall & William Reid." |
