Copy for Trustees: The Harbour Trustees will meet onboard the Sea Horse tug boat lying at Waterloo Quay, tomorrow Friday at 4 o'clock pm at which hour the boat will start on a pleasure trip to the bay, return to the harbour same tide. Your attendance is requested. Council Chamber. Aberdeen, 12th July 1838. Copy for other parties: The Harbour Trustees request your company onboard the Sea Horse tug boat lying at Waterloo Quay, tomorrow Friday at 4 o'clock pm, at which hour the boat will start a pleasure trip to the bay and return to the harbour same tide. Dear Sir, be so good as revise the (?) list make your remarks on it, and return the same before 2 o'clock to me- I have arranged with Mr. Elsmie to have an (?) meet on deck for accommodation- also with the steward of the Duchess for attendance, preparation, etc. Yours truly, James Riddel. 11th July 1838.
