Research in the British Newspaper Archive indicates that the Aberdeen Harbour Commissioners visited Leith in June 1913 to view the fish market at Newhaven, new Imperial Dry Dock, central electrical station, sea embankment, coal hoists, hydraulic pumping stations, grain elevators and new electric crane at the Imperial Dock (Scotsman 8 June 1913, page 12).
