Description | 4 Jan 1860 - 19 Apr 1892 Minute book labelled 'record of the Burgh of Insch vol. II 1860'. Note at the beginning of the book reads:- 'This book having been presented by Bailie [sic] Alexander Roger to the Magistrates and town council of the burgh of Insch and this having been recorded in the Old Book which is to be hoped will long be in safe custody to be inspected by the burghers after this Yule Even for many generations to come'. Includes entries relating to the Insch & West Foudland Turnpike Road, Insch Public Hall Co. Limited, street lamps and nuisances.

Mr Mearns has levelled the ground and gives details of how the pond could be formed, 13 Dec 1879 - Receipts for work done in the village, 1863, 1873 and undated. |
