Record payments of feuduties, ground rents and house rents for property owned by the Common Good Fund. Each rental gives the name of feuar or tenant, description of feued or leased land, duty payable, date of payment and amount paid and arrears. A remarks column is sometimes used to record the agent's name, the address of the feuar or tenant or to intimate a change of ownership. The Whitsunday and Martinmas rentals record different properties.
The Common Good Rentals also include the Church Pew Rental for the Parish Church of St Mary. This annual rental gives the number of each pew, name of the lessee and amount of rent payable. |
