BRanch I entries are for pauper children and children of persons in reeipt of relief under 8 and 9 Vict. c. 98. These entries records name of child, reference to folio in general register, name of school, changes of circumstance, and payments for education.
Branch II entries are for children whose school fees application has been made under the Education (Scotland) Act 1872 section 69 and records number ofo application, parent's name and residence, date of application, name and age of child, date when applicant's circumstances investigated by the Inspector, circumstances of applicant, date when application and register submitted to Parochial Board, Board's decision, school details, changes of circumstance, record of payments. |
