From James Martin (third master at Hanover St Primary) – 5th March 1910 – detailed letter asking for equity of pay, and a subsequent letter of 29th March asking for a change to be made to original letter.

From Beatrice G Mennie (Infants Mistress, Holburn St School) – 26th March 1910 – Letter , with cover letter, asking for improved salary which she had assumed with come with her promotion. Mentions pupil numbers and an honorarium in connection with Northfield School.

From Jessie Mitchell (Infant Mistress, St Clement St Public School) – 29th March 1910 – request of review of her salary. Notes addition of tramway fares to her outgoings.

From J M Morrison of 42 Carlton Place, (Grammar School, language teacher) – 31st March 1910 – Letter with cover letter requesting salary review.

From John McBain (Ab High School for Girls) – 7th March 1910 – letter regarding 9 pupils who may not qualify for admission to examination, but pointing out at least one (Isabella Bennet dob 9.4.1895) would be – giving her hours attended.

From J M Gregor (HT Old Aberdeen Public School) – 18th Feb 1910 – Cover letter with enclosed full list of pupils of infants, junior and seniors stating the books they should have and those that have none. Cover and follow up letters are asking for assistance form the McKnight Mortification fund.

From E McKenzie (Skene Street School) – 28th March 1910 – outlining her personal circumstances on the death of her sister and asking for an advance to pay her rent

From Elizabeth D Nisbet (HT Victoria Road Public School) – 28th March 1910 – Cover letter and enclosed details of Infant Class Teachers and Infant Class numbers with request for more staff

From John Peter (convener of Elementary Technical Institute HTs, of 28 Roseberry Street) – 4th March 1910 – detailed letter on behalf of the HTs in support of establishment of provision of Commercial Courses. Describes pupils current and proposed choices

W Robertson (Causewayend Public School) -m23rd March 1910 – problems experienced with new Saturday sessions and its impact on swimming lesson provision

From James Rose (King Street Public School) – 25th Feb 1910 – letter outlining several staff moves, but in detail about impact of changes on Miss Chalmers class (Bible and Quarterly exams affected by upheaval)

From James Rose (HT King Street Public School) 21st March 1910 – regarding a date for a proposed Board visit to school, and asking that it not me in conflict with Baden Powells visit as author has interest in the scouts and on committee formed city wide.

From Eliza C Rae –(Infants mistress, St Paul St Public School) – 7th March 1910 – requesting review of salary and outlining her experience. Describes roll of over 1000 and about 68 to every classroom

From Morland Simpson (HT AGS) – 17th Feb 1910 – report of an accident involving a Phaneul Duncan (from Ceylon, Aunt on 59 Desswood). Slipped and fell. Lost consciousness without external visible injury. PS describes boy being checked on overnight. Second letter of 25th Feb, boy doing well but still in nursing house.

From Morland Simpson (HT AGS) – 17th Feb 1910 – expressing grave concern about the danger of Telephone Wires to the boys. Refers to fatal accidents elsewhere.
