• Copy petition of school teachers of Aberdeen requesting a War Bonus from the School Board – undated, list of signatories removed.
• Letter of Duncan Clarke to Thomas Hector sending contribution of £305 to the War Loan fund from the staff of Victoria Road School, 14th February 1917.
• Letter of J. Cooke to the School Attendance Committee informing them that Fred Welham of 57 Wales Street broke into three teachers’ desks while in St Andrew’s Cathedral School at Sunday School and stole nine shillings which he spent in ice cream shops, and in doing so had lost his school books; he intends to bar the child from attending until his books are replaced, and the child’s mother intends to send him to another school, bringing the matter into dispute. Undated.

• Letter of J. Hyslop to Thomas Hector concerning supply of utensils in the face of probable compulsory rationing, 5th February 1917.
