- Jas C Barnett, Middle Public School, 14th Feb 1895: regarding the Attendance return, he considered that the children who were transferred from the Infant Dept to the Senior Dept had left the former and were admitted into the latter; suggests that it would be better to consider the school as a whole when making a return of those admitted and left
- J Beaumont, Commerce Street Public School, 1 Feb 1895: asks officially whether McDongall’s “Upright Series” of copy books can be used instead of Foster’s series; the different copy books affect how writing is taught

- J Beaumont, Commerce Street Public School, 7 March 1895: no space for physical instruction in the school as every classroom is filled with desks and other furniture; believes physical training is as necessary as mental training and should be carried out by gymnastic experts in all the Board’s schools

- John F Cruickshank, 60 Desswood Place, 29th Jany 1895: Miss Macdonald has joined the Training College; respectfully suggested the appointment permanently of a good P.T. or a good Assist. to aid Miss Johnston who complains of amount of work; if “this weather” continues, the average attendance for the year will suffer very seriously

The standard of work of a Pupil Teacher, W B Clark – knowledge superficial, marks poor, manner when taking a class was offensive to the Inspector; 2. Pupil numbers and staffing; 3. Inspector’s demand that P.Ts be gradually replaced with Assistants; 4. The future of Miss Rae, who was appointed as a temporary Assistant – willing and hardworking but methods not modern nor is she obedient

- James Campbell, Frederick Street Public School, 19th February 1895: school is infested with rats and Headteacher is concerned that scholars may leave because of this.
- C S Copland, Westfield Public School, 16 February 1895: apologising for ordering more slates and pointers than required to avoid having to re-order more rather than being extravagant; Pencil note added by School Board to “send diminished quantities”
- Jas Campbell, Frederick Street Public School, 15 February 1895: regarding requisitions for inkwells and compasses for Drawing; pencil note added by School Board re. inkwells “give” and compasses “do not give. It is unusual”.
- Duncan Clarke, Skene Square Ev. School, 13th February 1895: regarding a Social Meeting at King St Ev. School when ¾ of those in attendance were students from advanced Shorthand and Book-Keeping classes, neither of which are taught at King St; Clarke outlines how he has approached such events in the past
- James Campbell, Frederick Street Public School, 1 March 1895: smells prevalent in lower rooms and Infants’ Department and teachers have been suffering headaches, dizziness and sore throats which may be attributable to bad drainage; asks if drains would be smoke-tested and if the floors will be searched for rats [ See entry above for 19th February 1895]
- Jas Campbell, Frederick Street Public School, 23rd January 1895: issue regarding numbers of pupils in Standard classes, particularly when Standard I and Standard II are combined resulting in 110 pupils in a room for 65, a situation which the Inspectors would not tolerate; plan drawn overleaf

- James Campbell, Frederick Street Public School, 10th December 1894: he raises 2 issues – 1. The teaching of blind pupils, including which subjects [addendum incomplete] 2. A complaint about a child having been left “very much to his own resources from day to day”

- Mary R Cassie, 20 WhitehallRoad, Aberdeen, 21st Dec 1894: she received a 1st class certificate in German at the Society of Arts Exams in March, but, as the certificates were not distributed until October, she has been underpaid and asks for arbitration on this matter
- C S Copland, Westfield Public School, 8th March 1895: inability to teach Drill and Physical Education due to lack of a suitable room; playground was used but they had to stop because of “unseemly interruptions from outsiders”
