Concern expressed to Board about the prohibition of social functions and inquiries whether the Annual Concert and Re-Union of the school falls under the category. Has been a tradition for 22 years and is necessary to help fund the School Library.
Rose. Causewayend Public School. 2nd December 1898. Complaint about the state of the south side entrance door of the school. Since it does not close properly, it keeps that side of the school cold, and it is intolerable during storms. The cloakroom is also not fit for purpose either. A request for a porch to be installed.

Mr Henry has apologised but Mr Cruickshank has claimed it was a headache. Wishes the Board to reprimand him to recognise the severity of the action.
