Dr John Milne, President of the Meidcal Board at Bombay, who died 2 July 1841, bequethed to the Lord Provost of Aberdeen and others, the resideue of his fortuen to be devoted to the advancement of education in the count yof Aberdeen and the money was invested in landed property (the estate of Muchalls, Kincardineshire - see AET/5/6 for more information on the estate). |
