Administrative History | In Mar 1931 the Aberdeen JOC set up a Film Censorship Sub- Committee to collect evidence on the type of films shown to children ahead of a Scottish conference on Cinema Film Censorship in the autumn of 1931 organised by the Central Council. The Sub-Committee determined to make a survey of films shown in Aberdeen between April and June 1931 and their effect on a juvenile audience.
