Description | "Charter by James VI with consent of the Regent Murray, granting to the Provost, Baillies, Council and Community of the Burgh of Aberdeen the habitation or Mansion of the Minor Friars of the said Burgh, lying within the said Burgh with its gardens and pertinents, for the support of an hospital for poor, mutilated, and impotent, people, orphans and destitute children, to be called the new Hospital of Aberdeen, in all time coming; and with power to make laws and regulations for the Government thereof.
