Title	Copy Petition of Baillie Dingwall to the Council respecting the measure of Cloghill
Description	Petition by John Dingwall, purchaser of the land at Clogwill at the roup of 1756. seeking redress for the land many been mis-sold to him since the council's surveyor Peter May had overstated the size of the land by one-fifth. Dingwall seeks reparation not withstanding that he was at the time of purchase a member of the council and involved in the sale of the council and involved in the sale of the land on the council's behalf.
