| Administrative History | Stockethill South School opened as a primary school on 19 April 1949. When it opened only four of the eight classrooms were available and the children were taught on a double shift system. The school closed on 24 December 1963 and the children were then transferred to Cornhill School. Thereafter the building continued to be used as an annexe of Northfield Secondary School. |
