Description | Produced bi-annually until 1939, and annually from 1945. Until 1970, the magazine was subtitled 'The magazine of past and present pupils of the Aberdeen High School for Girls': in addition to the 'school section', the magazine included reports on activities, lists of members and financial statements for the Former Pupils Club. The early issues, in particular, were well-illustrated with photographs of pupils, sports teams, casts of performances and office-bearers of the Former Pupils Club. On the switch to comprehensive education in 1970, the magazine continued as 'The magazine of the Former Pupils of the Aberdeen High School for Girls'. The bound magazines GR6S/A33/6/6/1c - 1g appear to be have come from the school library; this set does not contain the advertisements at the front and back of the loose magazines. |
